Woodfield residents, today is the day
Woodfield Boulevard at Oxford Way closes 24 hours a day starting today through September 11. A second closure between the Hunt Club entrance and Hampton Place runs the same stretch of days. If that is your way out in the morning, leave earlier than feels necessary.

Eleven dogs just landed in Boca and they need homes
Tri-County Animal Rescue took in eleven dogs over the weekend, transferred from a Tennessee cruelty investigation and an overwhelmed rescue in rural Arkansas. They are in Boca now, being evaluated and cleared for adoption.

FAU opens the season in Gainesville against Florida, on SEC Network. It is a road game, so this is a bar plan, not a stadium plan.
The home opener is the following Saturday, September 12, against Navy at 7:30 on ESPNU. That one is the Salute to Service game, and it is the first real reason to be at FAU Stadium this fall.
